Service Description

The Service includes AI-powered resume tailoring tools, job description analysis, resume generation, job search features, and a browser extension for importing job postings. The Service may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to resell or commercially exploit the Service.

Equipment and Access

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all equipment (computers, mobile devices, internet access) necessary to use the Service. We are not responsible for any performance issues related to your equipment or internet connection.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any portion thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

AI-Powered Tools

How We Use AI

When you use AI features, your content (including resume text and job descriptions) is processed by our AI systems to generate suggestions, recommendations, and tailored content.

Third-Party AI Providers

We use third-party AI service providers (including Anthropic) to power certain features. Your content may be processed by these providers in accordance with their terms and privacy practices.

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service ("Your Content"), including resumes, job descriptions, and generated materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

Session-Based Storage

The Service operates on a session-based model. Your Content is stored temporarily during your session and is automatically deleted within 24 hours. We recommend downloading any content you wish to keep before your session ends.

Your Representations

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to upload and share the content
• Your content is accurate and truthful
• Your content does not infringe any third-party rights
• Your content does not contain viruses or harmful code

Functionality

Our browser extension allows you to import job postings from third-party websites into the Service. The extension only collects data from pages you explicitly choose to import.

Third-Party Websites

Job postings imported via the extension are owned by third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party job postings. Your use of third-party websites is subject to their terms of service.

Extension Updates

We may update the extension from time to time. Continued use of the extension after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, templates, and functionality, is owned by Tailored and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Trademarks

"Tailored" and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use our marks without prior written consent.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without payment, attribution, or restriction.

Term

These Terms are effective from the moment you first access the Service and continue until terminated.

Termination by You

You may stop using the Service at any time. Your session data will be automatically deleted within 24 hours.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Jurisdiction

Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware. You consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tailored regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, or internet outages.
