Terms of Service

1. The service

Tailored is a hiring and onboarding platform. Organizations use it to post roles, review applicants, and run digital onboarding; applicants use it to build an applicant passport, apply, and complete onboarding paperwork. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and be of legal working age. You are responsible for activity on your account. Organization accounts are provisioned by the platform operator; each organization is responsible for its team members' use of the service.

3. Applicants and their data

• You own the information you submit. You grant Tailored and the organizations you apply to a license to process it for hiring and onboarding purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Information you submit must be truthful — onboarding documents (e.g. employment-eligibility forms) carry legal consequences for false statements.
• Electronically signed documents are legally binding and immutable once signed.
• You can export or permanently erase your data from your Account page at any time.

4. Organizations

• The organization — not Tailored — makes all hiring decisions and is the employer (or prospective employer) of its applicants. Tailored is not a party to any employment relationship and is not an employment agency.
• Organizations must use applicant data only for lawful hiring/onboarding purposes, comply with applicable employment, background-check (e.g. FCRA), and data-protection law, and honor applicant rights requests for records they control.
• Organizations are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their postings and onboarding forms.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping of other users' data, uploading malicious content, impersonation, discrimination in violation of law, or use of the platform to collect data beyond hiring/onboarding purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Tailored does not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of applicant-submitted information, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailored's aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts paid to Tailored in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination, changes, governing law

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; we may suspend or terminate accounts for breach. We may update these terms and will change the date above — material changes will be highlighted in the product. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
